Gold (sponsored by Kenneth Warren & Son) – $10,000 cash prize and a performance opportunity with the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra and the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra.

Silver – $7,000 cash prize and a performance opportunity with the Western Michigan University Symphony Orchestra.

Bronze (sponsored by the Pinehurst Fund) – $5,000 cash prize and a performance opportunity with the Kalamazoo Junior Symphony Orchestra.

12 semifinalists compete for an opportunity to progress to the finals round.
